Fast and effective service, had a rush to get a car on the road asap and holdings worked hard to turn the car round in 3 days. I recently purchased a Mercedes SL350 from John at Gouldings Car Sales. After searching for several weeks I came across this car and what a stunning example! The whole process of buying the car was excellent and John's customer service and sales approach was excellent. Delivery of the car was slightly delayed due to John making sure the car was delivered fault free but this was made all the worth for waiting - the car was presented immaculately and a lot of time was taken in giving the car a full professional valet. Would highly recommend John and look forward to dealing with him again in the future. All in all an excellent buying experience!

We purchased our car from John a Mercedes and have to say that the experience has been faultless despite the pandemic. We had a new MOT supplied and a service was done on the vehicle before collection. A very minor niggle with the car which was sorted out without any quibble. Great service would buy from here again without question.

Feb 2021 and have just collected a Fiat 500 Lounge from John at Gouldings for our Daughter who is a teacher. The car is on a 17 plate with just 16500 miles on the clock. Having to source the car over the Internet due to Covid meant we were not able to view it first hand prior to purchase. However the car was exactly as John had described it to us and it looked batter than on their photos. It was in mint condition inside and out and they had also serviced MoTd and valeted the car prior to handover. I purchased a car from John and his team back in Sept 2020. The car came with 1 full MOT with no advisories and 4 months later I couldn't be more happy wit the car. I have had contact with John since the purchase and he has been nothing but polite understanding and helpful. I have not needed to contact John because the car had problems it is purely because I was interested in the cars history. John in my opinion has gone above beyond my expectations. Great all round experience! traded in my car for a newer one and Adam provided all the information efficiently which meant i could pick up the new car within 48hrs. Sorry I have not been in touch earlier I have had a busy week at work. As planned car was delivered on Tuesday, car is as you said in excellent condition in fact the pictures on Car Gurus did not do it justice, haven't drove the car yet as I have not got insurance or road tax as I still have the other car on the road, cant see that I will have any issues though, I am well pleased with the car.

We were very pleased with your level of service and will be giving you a good review. The extra mile with two new tyres, brake pads and discs earned loads of "browny points".

The car its self drives beautifully. I was invited on the Victoria Derbyshire show this morning and set off down M1 but only got to Derby A38 when the show was cancelled because of the Supreme Court announcement due this morning. The point I was getting to is, the car returned 65 mpg, even with the air conditioning on and being on s motor way. Well pleased.

pleased to recommend Gouldings, the honda civic automatic bought for my partner is great she loves it, we have just done some serious driving in it of late and cannot fault it,when bought was valeted and serviced and mot'd, the only thing we had to do was put a new tyre on due to age related failure otherwise no problems

I highly recommend Gouldings. I've purchased several vehicles from them over the years and most recently my daughter got her first car from them too.

They are extremely honest, trustworthy, so helpful, friendly and go above and beyond any other dealer.

We've all had troubles in the past buying 2nd hand vehicles. There's some very untrustworthy dealers out there.

But, not at Gouldings! I've never had an issue of any kind. My knowledge of vehicles is basic, I know how to drive, and that's all. So, it's easy to get ripped off.

Even their after service is phenomenal. I can't thank them enough for how helpful they've been to get my daughter a vehicle. And, they've even been kind enough to offer when she needs any servicing, breakdowns, general wear & tear repairs etc, she should call them. They will assist her to ensure she is looked after properly. A humongous weight off my shoulders as a mum, to know she will be safe on the roads and has a point of trustworthy contact if she has any difficulties.

I wouldn't even consider buying a 2nd hand vehicle from anywhere else, even if they didn't have what I wanted. I would either wait until they could source what I preferred or look at a different vehicle.

Every single person who works there is so cheerful, friendly and always so welcoming.

It's a rarity to find a business with such care for their customers.
