The Duchess was originally supplied new to Henley's Jaguar of London as what is believed to be their dealer demonstrator or for use by their Director. The car was then sold to a London based international music producer so a very star studded high class life for the old girl to start. Following this several long term Jaguar enthusiasts and collectors have owned The Duchess to preserve her to what you see today. Presented in possibly the best colour and wheel combination the XJS has become a timeless piece of automotive design boasting Jaguars 5.3 litre V12 on a silky smooth auto gearbox making the XJS one of the best mile munching grand tourers if you can afford the petrol bill! With a price tag of around £40,000 in 1990 the XJS was a serious piece of kit and this particular car seems to be very highly specified.
